Pursuing a healthier lifestyle with your family may not be easy, but it is rewarding and worth it. And no one knows that better than our Executive Diamond, Evelyn “Babes” Tero. Here is her story of her and her family’s wellness journey with Amway Philippines and Nutrilite™.
“I am Evelyn Tero, an Executive Diamond of Amway Philippines with my husband, Mario Tero. I’m also a mother to 5 successful kids: Melren, who is currently in Belgium engaged in a solar business, Gem-gem, who works in digital marketing, Mar Anthony, who supports us in our Amway and medical distributor businesses, Mar Christian, a phlebotomist coordinator in Chicago, and Mar Paolo, who manages our E & M (medical trading) family business.
Being a mother is a very rewarding experience for me, especially as I watch my children grow from a very young age until they reach great levels that I cannot imagine. Being a mom of moms is even greater as you can see other moms molding their children just as you did with them.
See, as a caring mother, your presence at home should bring joy and comfort to your family. It's important to create a warm and welcoming environment where your loved ones feel appreciated and supported. Strive to be an encouraging and understanding presence in your family's lives, fostering positivity and closeness. Your family should feel grateful for the nurturing and loving atmosphere you provide at home, making them cherish your presence rather than desire to leave. That is how I care for my family and lead the moms in our community of leaders.
However, what I value most in caring for my family and myself is to instill in us the value of being God-Fearing. Once a person is God-fearing, all values circle and flow easily towards it connecting the other values that we need as a person. This is what I teach my kids for them to always be spiritually guided.
As for what we do to be holistically healthy, my family and I eat food and exercise together. We have also created the Carbs In Carbs Out group, which thousands of members have already joined. To make our members more active in the community, we have created activities like Project 40K, a weight loss challenge, and our weekly fitness activity called Evolve.
Being part of the Amway business, which operates within the health industry, naturally draws you into a community where health is prioritized. Within this community, you witness individuals who have achieved success by placing a significant emphasis on their health and well-being. It’s one of the many reasons why I started my (and eventually my family’s) fitness journey and living a holistically healthier lifestyle.

Another reason why I am fully confident and committed to pursuing a better, healthier life with my family through Amway is the large amount of help and support that it gives me and my loved ones to achieve that.
Back then, I had severe problems with insomnia and profuse bleeding.
